Desire is an exhibition organized and presented by the Lighton International Artists Exchange Program in partnership with the John and Maxine Belger Family Foundation.

"Desire is a compilation of international artists, many winners of the Lighton International Artists Exchange Program (LIAEP). The show celebrates 15 years of friendships and communities built on artists learning about themselves and the world through generative studio practice and organic networking.

The LIAEP believes peace and understanding is achieved through art and communication. These situations are made possible with the assistance of the LIAEP. As an organization we have brought together an amazing body of work from all over the world with a theme that touches everyone."  — Linda Lighton

The exhibition will open on February 5th, during First Fridays in the Crossroads, at the Belger Art Center. The formal opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, March 17th, from 6 - 9 p.m.
